SCULPTURE MONTH HOUSTON - SITE GALLERY @ THE SILOS
Opening - Saturday, October 9, 2021 - 6-9 p.m.
The theme for Sculpture Month Houston 2021 is “Altamira: The Primal Urge to Create.” The cave-like interior of the old rice silos that comprise SITE Gallery at The Silos is the perfect setting for this year’s theme, and I’m creating a site-specific installation titled “Contact” to explore humankind’s first consciousness of “wolf energy” as the ground of creativity.
This little guy is from the last ClAYHOUSTOn STUDIO TOur in 2019, but he’s representative of the new small works i’ll be showing in 2021.

The ClayHouston Bayou City Clay Crawl returns this year and I’ll be hosting an Open Studio Sale of new work at my Heights studio, along with some outstanding guests artists (to be announced).
